About Sequoia Mountain Rescue

Sequoia Mountain Rescue is the primary fast-response technical rescue group in Tulare County, Ca.  Sequoia Mountain Rescue specializes in difficult alpine operations involving technical rescue and recoveries that require extensive training and professionalism.  Officially sanctioned by the Tulare Count Sheriff’s Department,  we are responsible for the rescue of lost and injured persons throughout the mountains and foothills of the Southwestern Sierra Nevada.  The team is trained and equipped to excel in any mountain environment at any time of year.

Sequoia Mountain Rescue is made up of a diverse group of professionals that are drawn together by a common passion for mountain adventure and a willingness to freely give of themselves to protect others.  Sequoia Mountain Rescue has the desire and drive to succeed.   It is this desire and drive within each individual team member that strengthens the team as a whole.
